An Act Respecting the Highway Act and the Salvage Dealers Licensing Act

His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

Highway Act

1 Paragraph 37(10)(b) of the Highway Act, chapter H-5 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is repealed and the following is substituted:

(b)  if the vehicle referred to in the certificate bears the same vehicle identification number and the same vehicle registration plate number as the vehicle with respect to which the offence is alleged to have been committed, that the vehicle referred to in the certificate is the vehicle with respect to which the offence is alleged to have been committed.

Salvage Dealers Licensing Act

2 Paragraph 7(1)(f) of the Salvage Dealers Licensing Act, chapter 111 of the Revised Statutes, 2016, is amended by striking out “registration number” and substituting “vehicle identification number, vehicle registration plate number”.
